NIBC appoints Jan-Willem Schuller and Michiel Scherpenhuijsen Rom

NIBC is pleased to announce the appointment of Jan-Willem Schuller as Managing Director Coverage and Michiel Scherpenhuijsen Rom as Director Investment Management per 1 January 2010. Their appointment illustrates NIBC’s strategic objective to further strenghten its activities in the Entrepreneurial Investor and Family Office client segment in the Benelux and Germany. This client segment is an important part of NIBC’s mid-market franchise as the bank supports active entrepreneurs and investors in growing their companies and in facilitating their investment activities.

Before joining NIBC, Jan-Willem worked at Theodoor Gilissen Bankiers, ING and ABN AMRO, combining an extensive background in private banking and corporate and project finance. Michiel worked in London at Penta Capital Partners as Partner and Investment Director, and at Bank of Scotland.
