Working at NIBC

We have expertise and know-how at the highest level to support our clients' needs. At the same time, we have the flexibility to respond quickly and take prompt decisions. That is all part of NIBC's high-performance culture.

We strongly believe in the need to invest in the personal and professional development of our people: "We develop people". Their capability and commitment define our success. We reward results in a differentiated way and encourage employee share ownership. We provide an environment where the best people choose to work, grow and have influence and impact. We make a significant investment each year in the training and development of our employees.

We have a culture in which we work together, share knowledge and support each other. Our business model is dependent on cooperation across all departments and geographies, giving us a uniquely close form of teamwork benefiting from our people's diverse perspectives.

We drive results by stretching ourselves and going the extra mile. We constantly improve our efficiency and effectiveness, working in a structured, goal-oriented way that benefits all our stakeholders.

NIBC encourages people to take responsibility, not only towards clients and NIBC, but also towards the community. We believe a balance between profit, people and planet is crucial to doing business.

Our value proposition

For people at every stage of their careers, we offer the opportunity to move ahead more rapidly than is possible at most other firms. Advancement depends on merit, and we have yet to find the limits to the responsibility our best people are able to assume. You are likely to be best suited to a specialist role reflecting the expertise you have gained outside NIBC. However, you are welcome to apply for any roles with the firm.

We have a total compensation approach consisting of a base salary and variable compensation. All employees are eligible for variable compensation, which is dependent on the overall performance of NIBC, the performance of the respective strategic business unit and their own performance.
