NIBC Singapore successfully closed a refinancing facility for three Kogas LNG carriers

Thursday 23 July, NIBC Singapore - acting as Mandated Lead Arranger in strong international syndicate - successfully closed a USD 482 million refinancing facility for three KOGAS LNG carriers. The vessels are owned by Korea's most prominent shipping companies, Hanjin Shipping Co., Hyundai Merchant Marine and SK Shipping Co., each owning one vessel. All three vessels are on long-term employment with Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS), the world's largest importer of LNG (liquefied natural gas).
