Paulus de WiltChief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Managing Board
Paulus de Wilt is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NIBC Bank N.V. since 7 April 2014. From 1989 to 2014, he held several positions in retail and corporate banking at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. More recently he was Managing Director Retail Banking. In this position he led the integration in 2010 of the retail divisions of ABN AMRO and Fortis. From 2007 to May 2009, Paulus was CEO of Newbank, a carve-out of ABN AMRO Corporate Banking that was sold to Deutsche Bank. In 2006 and 2007 he was responsible for ABN AMRO N.V.’s retail banking activities. Paulus holds a master’s degree in Business Economics from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam.Download image
Herman DijkhuizenChief Financial Officer, Vice-chairman of the Managing Board
Herman joined NIBC in October 2013 as Chief Financial Officer. He started his career in 1979 at KPMG. From 1994 he was partner and from 2006 to 2013 member of the Board of KPMG in the Netherlands. From 2012 to 2013 he was chairman of the audit committee institute of KPMG. During his career of more than 30 years at KPMG he served many clients, especially in the financial sector. His international experience includes being an expatriate partner in Germany responsible for Dutch KPMG clients (1992 until 1996) and leading a number of large international assignments as accountant and advisor. In addition to his function as CFO of NIBC Herman also serves as member of the Supervisory Board of VU Foundation and chair of the Audit and Housing committee of VU and also as chair of the Supervisory Board of Unicef the Netherlands.Download image
Reinout van RielChief Risk Officer, Member of the Managing Board
Reinout joined NIBC’s Managing Board in August 2016. From 1995 to 2013 he worked at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and Royal Bank of Scotland plc (RBS), where he held several senior positions in credit portfolio management and global transaction services. He also was Head of Recoveries & Litigation EMEA at RBS. From 2016 to 2016, Reinout served as Chief Portfolio Manager and member of the Board at real estate manager Propertize B.V. He currently is member of the Supervisory Board of the school association Baarn. Reinout holds a master’s degree in civil law from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam.Download image
Saskia HoversMember of the Executive Committee responsible for Corporate Clients Sectors
Saskia Hovers joined NIBC in 2001 and is responsible for the Corporate Sectors. Previously she was responsible for Asset & Project Finance within NIBC and has also led the sectors Oil & Gas and Shipping. Before starting at NIBC, Saskia worked for MeesPierson and Fortis in a variety of roles.Download image
Michel KantMember of the Executive Committee responsible for Retail Clients (NIBC Direct)
Michel Kant joined NIBC in 2001 and had various roles within Corporate Banking in The Hague and London. In 2008, Michel assumed responsibility for launching a savings initiative currently known as NIBC Direct. Under his management, NIBC Direct developed retail savings and residential mortgages in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium with a focus on specific niche products, such as the recent launch of buy-to-let mortgages. Michel Kant holds a master’s degree in Economics of the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.Download image
Caroline OosterbaanMember of the Executive Committee responsible for Corporate Clients Products
Caroline Oosterbaan joined NIBC in 2013 as Head of M&A. Subsequently, she assumed responsibility for NIBC’s Corporate Client teams. Caroline’s background is in M&A, strategy consulting and entrepreneurship.
