Female financial directors and supervisors

On 29 October, the fifth anniversary conference "The Value(s) of Resistance: Dilemmas in the Financial Sector" took place at NIBC in The Hague. The nearly 60 female directors and supervisors from the financial sector and the business community took part in a personal capacity.
 
The 60 prominent female leaders discussed dilemmas around three themes: the focus on customer interest, the development of new business models and the realisation of corporate responsibility. Participants also looked back on some concrete results from the past five years.
 
At the conference, the results of qualitative research among the participants on the subject of the dilemmas and values that play a role in decision making processes are presented. The research was conducted by Dr. Liesbeth Noordegraaf-Eelens from Erasmus University College.

This conference series is nonprofit and organized in a personal capacity by a group of female directors and supervisors. The objective is to encourage a dialogue of the financial sector with business, government and politics.
