NIBC enables GlasfaserPlus in expanding its Fiber-to-the-Home network

We are pleased to support GlasfaserPlus by being part of the EUR 2.15bn debt financing facilitating investments in fiber in Germany, where high-speed “Fiber-to-the-Home” penetration is still well behind the EU average.

GlasfaserPlus was founded by the co-investors Deutsche Telekom and IFM Investors, to build around 4 million fiber-to-the-home connections in Germany.

GlasfaserPlus is initially focusing on growth of its fiber network in areas including Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia.
