We, NIBC Bank N.V., use cookies to provide you with an optimised website experience. Furthermore, cookies help us to secure our website and to analyse the frequency of our webpage views and general navigation. When you visit our website, we will place one or more cookies (small text files) on your device and/or may use JavaScript, HTML 5 and other digital technologies to collect information from your device. Collectively we refer to these digital techniques as “cookies” in this Cookie Policy. The information collected by cookies may contain personal data, such as your IP address. In this Cookie Policy we will tell you what cookies we use and what their functions are. How we process personal data that we obtain from your device via the use of cookies is described in more detail in our Privacy Statement, which also provides information on how to exercise your privacy rights.

YouTube no cookie “cookie”

We are using a technique in order to prevent that tracking cookies are placed by YouTube when you watch a YouTube video on our website.

Analytical cookies

Analytical cookies, also known as statistical cookies, allow us to further develop and improve the functionality of our website by analysing your use of our website. In some cases they improve the speed with which we can process your request. These cookies channel back information to our data analytics tools, Google Analytics from Google LLC (Google) or Hotjar from Hotjar Ltd (Hotjar). We receive information on how you use and interact with our website, the preferred language used to display our website as well as on the amount of time that you spend on it. We also collect basic information that relates to the request that is made from your browser when you visit the website. These data may include information such as your device and browser type, your device screen resolution, the operating system that you use, your last visit date and time, the duration of your visit, the timestamp of the browser request, your IP address and basic HTTP header information (like referral URL and user agent), information about the website you have previously visited as well as demographic and geographic information. We use Google Tag Manager to place and manage cookies and scripts.

We have followed the Manual for Privacy Friendly Google Analytics Settings of the Dutch Data Protection Authority for the use of Google Analytics. This means, among other things, that we have instructed Google to delete the last three digits of your IP address (making it difficult to trace the IP address to a specific visitor) and that we have disabled the default settings for sharing data with Google. In addition, we have entered into a data processing agreement with Google. We do not use any other Google services in combination with the Google Analytics cookies. The limited information that is shared with Google through the use of Google Analytics can be transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

We have also concluded a data processing agreement with Hotjar. Additional information about Hotjar can be found here.

To measure the business use of our website, we furthermore use an analytical tool provided by Leadinfo. This tool shows us company names and addresses based on IP addresses of our visitors. It provides us insights about our visitors such as the pages you have visited, the amount of time you have spent on our website and how you have reached our website (e.g. via an advertisement). This enables us to optimize our website. A data processing agreement with Leadinfo is in place.

You can choose not to consent to the use of analytical cookies or withdraw your consent at any time as is explained in the section “Enabling, disabling, and deleting cookies” below.

We use the following analytical (statistical) cookies:
