NIBC Enabling ARK Data Centres Growth
ARK is one of the largest independent co-location data centre businesses in the UK. It owns and operates two modern, secure and environmentally sensitive data centre campuses close to London. Within its campuses, ARK hosts mission-critical IT for some of the largest UK and international companies. The company is also the data centre joint venture partner of the UK government’s Cabinet Office, hosting public sector organisations such as healthcare, policing and justice, councils and charities.
With the support of NIBC’s debt financing, ARK continues to expand organically and intelligently, building new BladeRoom data centre modules on its two campuses to incrementally meet demand. BladeRoom data centres are manufactured in the factory with minimal work on-site, allowing ARK to quickly and efficiently meet its clients’ needs with state-of-the-art facilities constructed in a fraction of the time required by more traditional building techniques.
