NIBC Investment Partners supports the growth strategy of Hemink

As a full service real estate partner, Hemink is a specialist in property maintenance and sustainability projects, including renovation projects, long term & planned maintenance and completion of new built-property. The company, established in 1958 as painting company, operates nationally from its offices in Holten and Nijkerk and employs approximately 250 people. Hemink carries out large and intensive (sustainability) projects that are often performed in inhabited situations.

The Assignment

Hemink’s management shareholders were looking for a partner that is able to support the company’s future growth strategy. With its substantial minority position, broad network and knowledge of the (real estate) sector, NIBC Investment Partners is able to support this growth strategy, whilst the management shareholders were able to retain a (joint) majority stake.

Adding value

As a partner, NIBC Investment Partners will support the growth strategy of Hemink by contributing to further (geographical) expansion in the Netherlands and potential acquisitions and value chain integration. NIBC Investment Partners will act as a (strategic and financial) sparring partner to the management shareholders, with experience in successfully rolling out both an organic growth strategy as well as executing a buy and build strategy.

Delivering results

Fuelled by, among others, the Green Deal and the Climate Agreement, approximately 6.5 million houses in the Netherlands are required to be made energy neutral within the coming years which is expected to increase the demand for sustainability solutions. It is Hemink’s mission to contribute to this process in a cost-efficient manner.
