NIBC provides a construction loan to FRED Developers for the last phase of Nieuw Kijkduin

NIBC provided a construction financing facility to our client FRED Developers. The facility enables the construction of the last phase of Nieuw Kijkduin, a highly sustainable, modern and multi-functional seaside resort in NIBC’s very own hometown of The Hague.

Revitalising sustainably
The currently outdated Deltaplein will be redeveloped into a shopping promenade with retail units on the ground floor, a parking garage underneath and luxurious apartments on top combined with a boulevard providing space for several (beachview) restaurants and other F&B opportunities. Nieuw Kijkduin will hold a BREEAM “excellent” energy label and is considered a highly sustainable project.

Kijkduin has a clean and family friendly reputation while the Project will enhance the area’s allure. Phase 1 has recently successfully been completed and the entire project is expected to be delivered by Q4 2023.
