What does our Talent Program look like

  • The Talent Program kicks off with an Onboarding Week, during which you will receive a gamified introduction to NIBC and banking. Together with a diverse and international group of fellow peers and colleagues you will get four days of networking, bonding and immersion in the bank’s business model.

  • In a sequence of four 2-day modules spread over one year, you will receive group training that focusses on personal development and soft skills. Learning by doing is key in this process, you will be challenged with many hands-on exercises and cases to hone your skills.

  • Another feature of our Talent Program, is the sustainability business project, where you will help to build a sustainable and resilient society. It is the opportunity to develop your Think Yes mentality, make an impact, and gain exposure. During the Think Yes Presentations you will pitch the results directly to NIBC’s managing board.

  • You will determine your personal development plan together with your coach and manager. The plan will be tailored to you with a focus on personal, professional, and technical growth. During the Talent Program you will get one-on-one coaching to develop your personal skills. You will be allocated a personal budget to help you achieve your ambitions and develop your hard skills.

  • In the last phase of the program, you will work on your Personal Challenge and at the closing event you will present to your group how you have developed yourself during the Talent Program.

“The Talent Program is a great opportunity for young professionals at NIBC. What I valued the most during the program was that you are set on a one-year long path of self-discovery, where you get to refine your identity, learn to work with people from different backgrounds and get to experience a start-up process within the boundaries of your corporate job. And the best part, is that you get to have a lot of fun in the process!”

“The Talent Program has provided me an opportunity to meet new people within and outside the organization and to create a beautiful friendship, which leads to a new support system that has boosted my confidence and handed over a deeper understanding of the company’s ambition and direction. More importantly, it has also structurally guided me to a self-realization I believe to be the most crucial element in one’s working life.”
